Some words about Mark…

As you know Dudbridge uses the dart nickname “Flash”. He first picked up an interest in darts in his early teens, when he used to watch his idol Dennis Priestley. Mark first really made a name for himself in the BDO when he won the Winmau World Masters in 2002. This was also a televised event in which he won beating Tony West in the final.

But Mark made the decision not to play in the BDO world championship instead making the switch to the PDC. In 2003 he had a good year, winning the UK Open regional final and also the Ireland Classic in which he knocked out  former world champion John Part. This form continued as Mark reached the World Matchplay final in 2004 losing out to Phil Taylor. Arguably Mark’s greatest display came in 2005 during the World Championships where he beat two former champions on route to the final where he faced Taylor again narrowly losing out by 7 sets to 4.
